Step Outside with PSHA Networking Hikes for Members
Two guided morning hikes led by experienced hiking guides David and Renè of Hike Local Palm Springs.Think of it as a new layer to our professional community: conversation, connection, and the chance to meet new colleagues while moving through some of the most striking desert scenery in the valley.We have scheduled two Networking Hikes: a beginner-friendly nature walk and an intermediate challenge, each limited to a small group to keep the experience personal. It’s a new take on PSHA networking, and a great excuse to start the day feeling energized. Each hike is limited to 20 PSHA Members or Members' staff.

    PSHA Hiking Mixer – Beginner-Level Hike

    If you’ve been wanting to try a hike—or just want a morning that feels great—this is the perfect one to join.

    Join David and Renè the experienced hiking guides from Hike Local Palm Springs for a relaxed, beginner-friendly walk through Oswit Canyon. This easy “nature hike” is designed to be comfortable, confidence-building, and enjoyable, with plenty to see along the way—including native plants, cacti, and local wildlife.

    It’s a wonderful chance to stretch your legs, get fresh air, and connect with fellow PSHA Members in a low-pressure, genuinely fun setting. Space is limited to 20 participants, and it’s free for PSHA Members and associates.

    Event Details

    Date / Time: January 25, meeting time 7:30 AM
    Meeting Location: 2925 S Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264

    Parking: Please park along South Palm Canyon Drive—between Murray Canyon Dr. and Bogert Trail. (We’ll be hiking through Oswit Canyon; this area also serves as the trailhead for the south end of the South Lykken Trail.)

    What to Know-

    • Bring plenty of water (at least one large bottle per person).
    • Apply sunscreen (yes, even in the morning!) and wear sunglasses.
    • Wear hiking or athletic shoes with socks. No sandals—they’re not safe on the trails.
    • Dogs are not permitted on most Palm Springs trails per city regulations, so please leave pets at home.
