PSHA is very excited to welcome Lisa Vossler Smith, CEO of Modernism Week, as the keynote speaker for our June PSHA Luncheon at the iconic Avalon Hotel Palm Springs. Lisa has been instrumental in transforming Modernism Week into one of the most recognized cultural and tourism events in the country, attracting more than 100,000 guests annually and generating over $68 million in economic impact for the region. From volunteering during the organization’s earliest days in 2005 to leading it today as CEO, Lisa brings a unique perspective on destination branding, tourism growth, community collaboration, and creating experiences that keep visitors coming back year after year for the different Modernism events throughout the year.This will be a timely and insightful conversation for anyone invested in the future of Palm Springs hospitality, tourism, and business. Lisa’s leadership story, industry knowledge, and firsthand experience building a globally recognized event right here in our community make this a luncheon you won’t want to miss.
